Avant-Garde Welcomes John Cocking as a Regional Sales Director
Avant-Garde recently welcomed John Cocking as a Regional Sales Director over the Southwestern and Western United States. John comes to Avant-Garde with over 14 years experience in the turnstile industry.

As a former soccer player and graduate of UNC, Cocking joined the turnstile industry by accident- his friend introduced him to the world of secured entry, and he began working for Smarter Security where he remained for 14 years.
“At the end of the day, what I love most about turnstile sales is helping people. I get to provide them with the best turnkey solution to secure their business. I’ve developed many great relationships over the years, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I have to serve customers and businesses alike- by helping them keep their team members safe.”
One team member from Avant-Garde has worked with Cocking for the last two years, through a partnership forged between the respective companies. “I’m looking forward to working with John. He brings a lot of industry knowledge through his past experience. He’s a great asset to our team.”
In his downtime Cocking prefers to spend time with his family. “My family comes first, second, and third” he says. He also enjoys outdoor hobbies such as fishing and golf.
